I have spent the last two decades selling enterprise technology across IT services, SaaS, startups and global enterprises. I have worked closely with founders, engineers, delivery teams, recruiters, hiring managers and enterprise buyers across multiple industries.

Few roles get such a broad view of how companies hire, build, compete and grow. This perspective led me to a question I believe will define Hyderabad's & India's next phase of growth:

How do we build a continuous pipeline of domain specialists across industries?

You already know domain specialization directly impacts your ability to innovate. The problem has never lacked attention or investment.

However, it has lacked ownership and solutions where it actually exists: at the domain level itself.

Two developments have made this problem immediate. AI is changing the economics of domain specialization with competitive advantage increasingly shifting towards engineers who understand the business context, regulations, workflows and nuances of a domain.

Hyderabad's emergence as a global GCC capital is accelerating demand for domain-ready talent faster than the ecosystem has been producing it. Every new GCC/Enterprise/IT services company increases demand and internal competition.

Hardly any initiatives increase the long-term supply of domain specialists for Hyderabad across industries.

To solve a domain ecosystem problem, solutions have to be designed at an ecosystem level.

That is why I am building domainspecialists.in.

The idea is simple: create an ecosystem around domain specialization, bringing together the people, organizations and communities that can contribute to building Hyderabad's long-term domain capability.
